Honduras: Distrito Central ampliará a 12 días el racionamiento de agua por bajos niveles en los embalses

The Distrito Central in Honduras, comprising Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela, is expanding its water rationing schedule to a 12-day interval between supply cycles. Mayor Juan Diego Zelaya announced the measure, which increases the wait time from the previous nine-day schedule.

This modification is necessitated by a severe water crisis driven by critically low water levels in the local reservoirs supplying the region.
