Horacio Melgarejo will remain suspended for one year in Liga 1 2026: The Court of Appeals ratified the sanctions and the economic payment of 20 UIT

The Appeals Tribunal of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) has ratified a one-year suspension and a financial penalty of 20 UIT against coach Horacio Melgarejo. As a result of the decision, Melgarejo will continue to be barred from coaching within the Liga 1.

The ruling confirms the disciplinary measures previously imposed on the coach, keeping him sidelined from official activities in the tournament for the specified duration.
