Hospital medication mix-up at a Tennessee hospital leaves patient paralyzed

A Tennessee hospital says a medication mix-up left a patient paralyzed from the chest down after she was given an electrolyte solution instead of anesthesia during a knee replacement, one of four patients affected by an error the hospital acknowledged.
