Three injured by man who shot at moving vehicles before he was shot by police, HPD says

A woman and her daughter were among those shot late Friday morning, according to the Houston Police Department, which said the shooter was struck multiple times by responding officers and transported to a hospital. Three people, including a mother and daughter, were shot after a man allegedly fired at vehicles near North Wayside Drive and Ley Road in northeast Houston.
