Hungary’s largest, more than 100-year-old paddle steamer, Szőke Tisza, catches fire – photos

Hungary's largest and more than 100-year-old paddle steamer, the Szőke Tisza, has caught fire. The historic vessel was consumed by flames, prompting an emergency response.

In response to the incident, sixteen firefighters were dispatched to the scene from Szeged and Hódmezővásárhely to combat the blaze. Photographic documentation of the fire and the firefighting efforts was also captured and shared.
