Indian wushu athlete Divyanshi Choudhary has been removed from the women’s 60kg category for the upcoming Asian Games. The athlete, who expressed emotional distress over the exclusion, was replaced by Roshibina Devi Naorem.

According to the athlete's father, Sunil Choudhary, the family was notified of the change on Friday morning. The decision is notable because Divyanshi Choudhary had previously defeated Naorem during the selection trials for the event.
