Icetex aliviará la cuota de 170.000 deudores: desde octubre reactivará el subsidio a la tasa de interés

Starting in October 2026, the Colombian government and the Ministry of Education will reactivate a temporary interest rate subsidy for approximately 170,000 Icetex beneficiaries who are currently in the repayment phase of their student loans.

The measure is designed to provide financial relief on loan installments for these debtors through the allocation of additional resources managed by national authorities.
