Iconic hot pools site gets green light for $58m rebuild

An iconic hot pools site located on the Hibiscus Coast, 40 kilometres north of Auckland's central business district, has received official approval for a $58 million rebuild.

According to the project schedule, construction at the site is set to begin in early 2027. The newly rebuilt venue is anticipated to open to the public by mid-2028.
