IDF slams ‘reprehensible’ settler outposts in Palestinian villages, but doesn’t demolish them

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have publicly condemned the establishment of settler outposts within Palestinian villages, labeling the actions as 'reprehensible.' Despite the strong verbal condemnation, the military has not demolished the unauthorized outposts, nor has it provided an explanation as to why settlers are permitted to remain inside a designated closed military zone.

In response to incidents involving the besieging of Palestinian homes, the army has stated that any troops found to have been involved will face disciplinary action. However, the military's enforcement actions remain limited regarding the physical removal of the settlers from the area.
