Multiple niches and structures within the Cristo Redentor cemetery have been targeted in a series of security breaches involving vandalism and theft. According to reports, the facilities display signs of forced entry, including violentated doors, broken windows, and left-open accesses that leave structures entirely exposed.

Informants denounced that unauthorized individuals routinely enter the camposanto to steal belongings from the niches. Furthermore, these compromised spaces are reportedly being utilized by trespassers for unauthorized activities such as smoking, highlighting ongoing security vulnerabilities within the cemetery grounds.
