NewzJamaica Observer Limited has been made aware of screenshots circulating in the public space showing a small number of article headlines appearing alongside or attached to incorrect photographs. Our preliminary investigations indicate that the incorrect headline/photo pairings may be occurring through certain third-party news aggregation services. At this time, we have not identified the same issue occurring on our website or mobile applications.
While we have very little control over how news aggregators operate, our technical team and partners continue to investigate the matter to establish the source and extent of the issue and are taking all reasonable steps available to us to have the incorrect photo/headline pairings corrected or removed. We regret any inconvenience or concern this situation may have caused and remain committed to ensuring that the information and imagery associated with our news content are presented as accurately and responsibly as possible.
