India steps up glacier monitoring after Nepal disaster

India is stepping up monitoring of its Himalayan regions bordering China and Nepal following deadly floods that appear to have been triggered by a glacial event. The heightened surveillance comes days after a flash flood along the Nepal-Tibet border affected the Trishuli River near the Rasuwagadhi hydropower plant.
