Indian Coast Guard launches search and rescue operation after cargo vessel sinks in Bay of Bengal

The Indian Coast Guard has initiated a search and rescue operation following the sinking of a cargo vessel in the Bay of Bengal. The mission is currently underway to locate the crew members who were on board at the time of the incident.

The vessel's crew comprised 24 individuals in total, including 20 Chinese nationals, three Myanmar nationals, and one Bangladeshi national. Authorities are coordinating efforts to address the emergency situation in the region.
