INEC extends PVC collection period in Osun

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially extended the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Osun State. This decision follows the conclusion of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, providing additional time for registered voters to obtain their cards ahead of upcoming electoral activities.

According to INEC Chairman Amupitan, 62 percent of individuals who registered during the recent CVR exercise have successfully collected their PVCs thus far. The extension is intended to facilitate higher participation rates by allowing the remaining registrants more time to secure their documentation.
