Two migrants from a boat carrying 17 others who went missing have been admitted to hospital in Mallorca

Two individuals of Maghrebi origin were rescued by Salvamento Marítimo and the Guardia Civil in the early hours of August 4, approximately 12.68 miles southwest of Mallorca. The survivors were transported to a hospital exhibiting signs of dehydration and malnutrition after being found on a small boat.

Authorities are currently searching for additional passengers who were reportedly on the vessel. Reports indicate that between 17 and 19 other individuals remain missing following the journey. The incident coincides with the arrival of a second boat in the region, further highlighting the ongoing maritime migration activity in the area.
