Interceptados 54 inmigrantes a bordo de dos pateras en Cabrera y Mallorca

Authorities intercepted a total of 54 undocumented migrants of sub-Saharan origin on Monday after they arrived on the coasts of the Balearic Islands aboard two separate small boats (pateras).

The first vessel was intercepted near Cabrera, while the second arrived on the coast of Mallorca carrying 28 people. The incidents highlight ongoing migrant arrivals via small watercraft to the Balearic coast during the period.
