International coalition halts financial aid to Peshmerga

The US-led international coalition has officially halted financial aid to the Peshmerga forces of Iraqi Kurdistan. The decision follows the expiration of a four-year agreement regarding the funding.

The expired financial support was originally established under an agreement previously inked between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the United States Department of Defense.
