Intervention due to illegal constructions on the Yaque del Norte River

The Dominican Republic's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources conducted an intervention this Saturday against a complex of nine illegal structures located in the La Guázara community of Jarabacoa. The buildings were situated within the 30-meter protection strip of the Yaque del Norte River, violating established environmental regulations regarding riparian zones.
