Iran executes man convicted of alleged espionage and collaboration with Israel

Iranian authorities executed Hosein Pedaran on Saturday following his conviction for treason and espionage. Pedaran was accused of collaborating with the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, by providing sensitive information regarding the location of missile sites in the Isfahan region. The charges were linked to activities occurring during the conflict in June 2025. The execution was carried out following a legal process that resulted in a death sentence for the accused.
