Iran and Oman agree route for ships in Strait of Hormuz, Tehran says

Iran and Oman have reached an agreement regarding a geographic shipping route through the Strait of Hormuz. According to Tehran’s foreign ministry, the two nations are currently finalizing arrangements for the joint management of the passage. The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical global waterway, historically responsible for transporting approximately one-fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas exports.
