Iranian official calls US strike on Hormuzgan 'blatant war crime' Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has termed the US strike on Hormuzgan province, in which eight civilians were killed, as a “blatant war crime”. In a post on X, Baqaei said the attacks targeted bridges and killed four men and four women, including two brothers with disabilities. He added that the attacks had strengthened the resolve of the Iranian people, saying they were now "more determined and united than ever" and would make their "enemies bitterly regret this criminal aggression".
