Iraq weather forecast: Temperatures to rise again, with southern provinces to hit 47°C

Temperatures are set to rise across Iraq beginning Tuesday, with the Iraqi Meteorological Authority forecasting a new period of intense summer heat. The warming trend is expected to affect most of the country, with southern provinces projected to reach highs of 47°C.

In contrast, parts of northern Egypt are experiencing a temporary decline in temperatures. The Egyptian Meteorological Authority reports that this cooling trend will impact Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt on Monday, though southern Upper Egypt is expected to remain very hot.
