Iraqi oil shipments surge by 70% in August

Iraq's oil exports experienced a significant surge of over 70 percent in August, jumping to approximately 2.34 million barrels per day compared to 1.35 million barrels per day in July.

According to two Iraqi energy officials speaking to Reuters, the sharp increase was driven by the arrival of a greater number of oil tankers at the country's southern export terminals.
