The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) has initiated a temporary closure of a section of the Iringa–Mbeya highway at the Ipogolo Bridge. The closure is scheduled to last for two months to facilitate a major overhaul of the infrastructure. This route serves as a critical segment of the Tanzania-Zambia Highway (TANZAM).
