KINGSTON, Jamaica — In an effort to help hurricane-affected farming families at the Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial and Food Show 2026, Isratech invited a group of farmers and agro-processors who were rebuilding their businesses to participate in the Farmers Market completely free of charge. While thousands of patrons visited the Isratech Pavilion to explore innovative solutions for home gardening, water, energy and agriculture, the farmers’ market section quietly became the heart of the entire experience, organisers said. In a statement on Tuesday, organisers indicated that the section transformed the pavilion into more than just an exhibition space; it became a platform for recovery, opportunity and resilience.
Recognising the devastating impact recent disasters have had on many farming families, the company absorbed all exhibition fees, transportation costs, lunch and refreshments for the full three-day event, allowing participants to focus entirely on showcasing and selling their products. Isratech described the booth as representing a fresh start for the vendors. One of those vendors was Shaniele Milton, a single mother who attended the event with her children while operating her booth.
Her presence became a powerful reminder of the resilience and determination of Jamaica's farming community and the importance of creating opportunities that are inclusive and accessible for every entrepreneur, regardless of circumstance. Throughout the three-day event, farmers connected with hundreds of new customers, introduced their products to new audiences and strengthened valuable business relationships that will extend well beyond Denbigh. Among the participating entrepreneurs was Deon Pusey, owner of Taste the Difference Sauces, who expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative.
"I just want to take the time out to say thanks to Isratech for the experience. I've gotten the opportunity to meet new customers and to promote my brand. I admire the team they are well organised." The farmers market formed one of three distinct experiences inside the Isratech Pavilion, each designed to provide practical value to visitors.
