‘It felt like a fresh start’ — Carrick reacts to Man United’s draw at Leeds

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick described his team's 1-1 draw against bitter rivals Leeds at Elland Road on Sunday as a "fresh start."

Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring for Manchester United in the first half, but Leeds forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalized to secure the draw. The hard-fought match extended Manchester United's ongoing winless run.

Despite failing to secure a victory, the result marked Carrick's initial outing in charge as manager at the rival venue.
