Italy responds to “Sánchez’s government’s retaliatory measure” with a Crisis Unit for citizens affected by border controls

The Italian government characterized the Spanish policy as a retaliatory measure taken by the administration of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

The initiative, managed by the Farnesina, serves as a direct response to the movement restrictions imposed at the Spanish border. The Italian authorities established this special device to provide support and address the needs of citizens affected by the new border protocols.
