Indonesian tennis player Janice Tjen was defeated in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto by Liudmila Samsonova.
Despite the straight-sets or eventual loss, Tjen put up a fierce and competitive fight against her opponent before ultimately exiting the tournament in the opening round.
