Japan Lower House to install security cameras in Diet building

Japan's Lower House has announced plans to install security cameras within the Diet building. The measure aims to enhance building security and monitor access.

The initiative is being implemented partly in response to a 2021 incident involving a government employee who secretly filmed a woman in a restroom located inside the Diet building.
