Japan orders evacuations and cancels 500 flights as Typhoon Dolphin approaches

Hundreds of thousands of residents in southwestern Japan were ordered to evacuate on Friday as the slow-moving Typhoon Dolphin approached the region. The severe weather system prompted the cancellation of more than 500 flights.
