Japan’s Nishimura goes wire-to-wire for first LPGA win

Japan's Yuna Nishimura secured her first LPGA victory on Sunday by winning the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. She accomplished the feat in wire-to-wire fashion, closing out the tournament with a final-round five-under-par score of 66.

Although the chasing pack managed to narrow the gap early in the final round, Nishimura maintained control by playing a flawless back nine. Her strong finish allowed her to extend her lead and ultimately capture the title by a five-stroke margin.
