Japanese automakers Nissan and Honda agree to work together on software for cars

Japanese automakers Nissan and Honda have entered a formal agreement to collaborate on the development of computer components and software for future vehicles. The partnership, announced in Tokyo on Monday, aims to produce technology for cars scheduled to enter the market by fiscal year 2029.

As part of the initiative, the Yokohama-based Nissan and Tokyo-based Honda intend to share resources to advance their automotive software capabilities.
