Japanese motor-maker Nidec says probe found hundreds of quality control misconduct

Japanese motor manufacturer Nidec Corporation has released the findings of an internal investigation confirming 844 instances of quality control misconduct. The probe, initiated in May, examined irregularities spanning the last decade, following the company's prior disclosure of over 1,000 suspected cases of quality control failures occurring between 2020 and 2025.
