Javier Ibáñez: "Sabía que llegar era casi imposible, pero lo he dado todo hasta el final"

Cyclist Javier Ibáñez of the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA team secured the combativity award for the fourth stage of the Vuelta a Burgos. The stage took place in Briviesca, Burgos, on August 7, following a long breakaway.

Speaking after the event, Ibáñez acknowledged that achieving a stage victory from the breakaway was nearly impossible. However, he emphasized that he gave his all until the very end of the race.
