Authorities dismantle a network that paid vulnerable women, whom they called "babies," to smuggle drugs into six prisons in Costa Rica

The Pleno of the Junta Central Electoral (JCE) in the Dominican Republic announced on Monday a 30-day extension for political parties, groups, and movements to submit their updated lists of registered affiliates. This decision was formally communicated through a letter from the JCE's General Secretariat.

This extension provides political organizations additional time to comply with administrative requirements regarding their membership records. The measure affects all recognized political entities currently operating within the electoral system.
