NewzKINGSTON, Jamaica — A member of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) was fatally shot on Sunday, September 13, in Fletcher’s Land, Kingston. He has been identified as 37-year-old Andrae Thompson, of Independence City, St Catherine. Reports from the Kingston Central police are that at approximately 11:00 pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police.
Upon their arrival, they found Thompson lying face down beside a Toyota Axio motor car with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was assisted to hospital, where he was pronounced dead while being treated.
