JE kills nine, infects 37 in less than a month

Japanese encephalitis (JE) has caused nine deaths and infected 37 people in less than a month. The outbreak spans multiple regions, resulting in fatalities across three provinces.

Of the nine total deaths reported during this period, six occurred in Koshi province. Two fatalities were documented in Madhesh province, and one death was recorded in Lumbini province.
