The defense team for former Dominican Republic Attorney General Jean Alain Rodríguez insisted on Monday that the ongoing criminal proceedings against him should be legally extinguished.

According to his representatives, this demand for the application of the maximum four-year legal time limit is supported by the Washington, D.C.-based World Jurist Association as well as prominent national legal associations.
