Jean André Pumarol hands over authorities in judicial process

Jean André Pumarol surrendered to authorities on Thursday following a ruling by the Second Chamber of the Criminal Court. His family facilitated the handover in direct compliance with a court order issued the same day.

The court's decision revoked a previous 'no ha lugar' (no grounds) ruling that had been in Pumarol's favor. As a result of the new judicial determination, he has been ordered to serve three months of preventive detention in connection with an ongoing homicide case.
