Jean André Pumarol hands over authorities in judicial process

Jean André Pumarol surrendered to authorities this Thursday following a ruling by the Second Chamber of the Criminal Court. His family confirmed the surrender, which was conducted in compliance with a new judicial order issued earlier that day.

The court's decision revoked a previous 'no ha lugar' (no grounds) ruling that had been in Pumarol's favor. Consequently, the court has now imposed three months of preventive detention against him in connection with an ongoing investigation into a death.
