Jean André Pumarol hands over authorities in judicial process

Jean André Pumarol was surrendered to authorities by his relatives on Thursday in the Dominican Republic. The action follows a ruling issued earlier the same day by the Second Chamber of the Penal Court.

The appellate court revoked a previous "auto de no ha lugar" (dismissal in his favor) and imposed a three-month pretrial detention order against Pumarol in connection with a death investigation.
