The Armenian community in East Jerusalem has faced decades of harassment, intimidation, and discrimination perpetrated by extremist ultra-Orthodox (haredi) and nationalist Jewish youths.

Despite the long-standing nature of these hostile acts against the local population, the situation has largely failed to draw widespread international attention or intervention.
