Jesus Acosta faces about five charges for killing two people

Jesús Acosta, a 31-year-old Dominican national, was arrested by the New York Police Department on Saturday, August 29, following an intensive search. He is accused of involvement in a series of violent incidents that occurred within a 48-hour period across Brooklyn and The Bronx.

Acosta currently faces at least five criminal charges related to two separate shootings during a wave of business robberies. These events resulted in the deaths of two men and left a third individual injured.
