New York Jets owner Woody Johnson acquires stake in F1 team Aston Martin

New York Jets chairman and former U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom, Woody Johnson, has acquired a minority stake in the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One racing team. The announcement, made on Thursday, confirmed that Johnson will also join the team's board of directors as vice chairman.

While the British racing team did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction, the move marks a significant expansion of Johnson's sports ownership portfolio. Based in Silverstone, England, the Aston Martin team stated that Johnson will focus his efforts on the company's strategic development.
