Johnny Gonzalez arrested after attempted robbery in Serrallés

Johnny González, a 41-year-old man, has been arrested by the National Police in connection with the stabbing and attempted robbery of 23-year-old Gustavo Adolfo III Mejía-Ricart Risk. The incident occurred in the Serrallés sector of the National District, where the victim was pursued and wounded with a bladed weapon while arriving at his residence. The arrest took place on Calle L, three days after the attack occurred.

Following the apprehension, the National Police officially identified González as the primary suspect in the case. Authorities have also disclosed a potential motive for the crime, marking the first time a specific reason for the attack has been attributed since the incident took place.
