Jon Iñarritu no concurrirá como candidato de EH Bildu en las próximas elecciones generales

Jon Iñarritu, a prominent figure in the EH Bildu party, has announced that he will not run as a candidate in the upcoming general elections scheduled for November 29. This decision marks the end of his 15-year tenure representing the sovereignist formation in the Spanish Cortes Generales.

In his statement regarding the departure, Iñarritu expressed that it is time for him to step aside from his parliamentary role. He indicated that he intends to return to grassroots militancy within the party, concluding a decade and a half of legislative service.
