Jonny Otto (Alavés): We don't need to win, but we do have the conviction.

Deportivo Alavés player Jonny Otto stated ahead of Sunday's upcoming match against Celta that his team does not feel an urgent necessity to win, despite currently enduring a four-game winless streak, though the squad remains fully convinced of their approach to pursue victory.

In a separate fixture context announced during the same period, Leganés and Córdoba—positioned sixteenth and eighteenth respectively near the relegation zone in the lower tier of the standings—are preparing to open a round of matches at Butarque where securing a victory is treated as an absolute necessity.
