José Armando Urioste fue nombrado como nuevo fiscal interino de Bolivia tras la detención de Roger Mariaca

José Armando Urioste Viera has been appointed as the interim Attorney General of Bolivia by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly. The appointment follows the detention of his predecessor, Roger Mariaca, which triggered a political and institutional crisis.

Urioste's selection was achieved after a contentious legislative process that required five failed rounds of voting before a successful consensus was reached to fill the vacant post.
