José Balcázar espera que la operación del papa León XIV no sea “tan perjudicial” y pueda visitar Perú en noviembre

Former president José María Balcázar expressed hope that the medical operation undergone by Pope Leo XIV will not be overly detrimental, allowing the pontiff to proceed with a planned visit to Peru in November.

The pope underwent surgery on Tuesday to remove the lower lobe of his right lung after it was confirmed that he was suffering from an unspecified medical condition.
