The Latest: Democratic states sue Postal Service to block Trump’s limits on voting by mail

Twenty-five Democratic-controlled states have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Postal Service to block a directive by President Trump that seeks to limit voting by mail in the upcoming midterm elections. Under the contested executive order, the Postal Service has been tasked with deciding who is permitted to vote by mail.

Simultaneously, a federal judge in Boston has cleared the way for the Postal Service to proceed with work related to the order for now.
